I want to get a list of your members to use as a mailing list. How do I do this?
Our membership list is only available as posted on this website. We do not sell, rent, or donate our electronic list.
What types of membership do you offer?
There are three types of membership: Manufacturer, Affiliate and Alumni/Honorary. Manufacturer members consist of mills and treatment companies. Affiliate members are Distributors, Brokers, Retailers, Wholesalers, and Associates.
What are your membership fees?

***Professional category includes: engineer, architect, roof inspector.
Honorary Appointed by Board of Directors – cannot apply for this membership.
How long does it take for my membership application to be approved?
There are a lot of variables associated with this process. The CSSB is committed to processing applications in a timely manner. Your application must be filled out completely with the proper paperwork submitted along with the correct fees (if paying by company check, two separate checks are required, for the membership fee and non-refundable application fee). A District Manager in your area performs a preliminary approval process of the application and then it is presented to the Board of Directors for final approval. The Board of Directors meets quarterly. The Board of Directors may also vote for membership approval via email ballot. This may happen between board meetings, depending upon the total number of applications received.
